ECG721: 10-Input Priority Encoder belonging to the standard 7400-series digital logic family and packaged in a 16-pin dual-in-line layout. It functions by continuously scanning ten asynchronous active-low decimal input lines and instantly encoding the highest-priority active pin into a 4-bit Binary Coded Decimal (BCD) output code to compress input streams for host microprocessors.
