Octal 3-State Non-inverting Bus Transceiver. It is designed for two-way, asynchronous communication between 8-bit data buses, allowing data to flow either from "A" to "B" or "B" to "A" depending on the control signals - Logic Family: 74HC (High-speed CMOS).
Operating Voltage: 2.0V to 6.0V.
Package Type: 20-pin PDIP (Plastic Dual In-line Package).
Output Drive: Capable of driving up to 15 LSTTL loads.
Current Capability: Can source/sink approximately 24mA to 35mA depending on the specific manufacturer's rating - DIR (Pin 1): Direction Control. A high level transmits from A to B; a low level transmits from B to A.
OE (Pin 19): Output Enable (Active Low). When high, the outputs are in a high-impedance state, effectively isolating the buses.
A0–A7 (Pins 2–9): Data I/O Port A.
B0–B7 (Pins 11–18): Data I/O Port B.
Vcc (Pin 20) & GND (Pin 10): Power and ground
