ICM7211IPL: 4-Digit, 7-Segment Non-Multiplexed CMOS LCD Display Driver LSI, incorporating an onboard four-byte data latch registry, a 1-of-16 binary coded decimal (BCD) to 7-segment decoder matrix, and a complete display backplane RC oscillator network. It drives common LCD display digits directly with phase-stable AC voltage tracks to eliminate pixel degradation artifacts and enforce uniform visual clarity without injecting multiplexing noise spikes into sensitive analog lines, housed in a standard 40-pin through-hole plastic dual in-line package (PDIP-40).
