First-generation Apple Remote, a white plastic infrared (IR) controller released in 2005. It was originally designed to control the Front Row media interface on early Intel-based Macs and serves as the primary remote for the first three generations of Apple TV - USED - Mac Computers: Supported on various models released between 2005 and 2012, including the Apple MacBook (Early 2006–Mid 2009), Apple MacBook Pro (Early 2006–Mid 2012, excluding Retina models), Apple iMac (Late 2005–Mid 2011), and Apple Mac mini (Early 2006–Late 2014).
Apple TV: Primarily designed for the Apple TV (1st generation), but it can also operate the 2nd and 3rd generation models.
iPod & iPhone: Can control media playback when the device is docked in an Apple Universal Dock - Connectivity: Infrared (IR) technology with a range of approximately 5 to 10 meters.
Battery: Uses a single CR2032 3V lithium coin cell battery. Some sources mention CR2016, but CR2032 is the most widely cited replacement.
Controls: Features a simple 6-button layout: Menu, Play/Pause, and a navigation ring (Volume Up/Down, Next/Fast-forward, Previous/Rewind)
